Hi! Thanks for stopping by.
My name is Sophi Conn and I am an American harpist born and raised in West-Central Pennsylvania, now proudly serving the southern Ontario region. I have been performing for weddings and special events for over ten years and I love every moment of it. There’s truly nothing like seeing people experiencing the magic of the harp for the first time and it’s always an honor to have the opportunity to bring a room to life with music.
I started my harp studies in middle school under the tutelage of Blair County music legend, Mary Lauver (she was 92 years old whenever I started taking lessons with her!), and continued my studies at the university level with harpist extraordinaire, Anne Sullivan. Both were not only amazing music teachers, but also cherished life mentors whose influence I am deeply grateful for.

At the present, I spend the majority of my time arranging modern pop music for the harp. I love finding new-to-me songs and creating a way to keep one of the most ancient instruments in the world current sounding. That said, I haven’t forgotten my classical training! Blending the two eras is one of my favorite forms of personal expression.
