So you want to learn how to play the harp?
You’ve come to the right place.
Sophi is passionate about sharing her love of the harp and wants to help as many people learn as she possibly can.
She also knows that everyone approaches the instrument with different goals and she is excited to help her students build confidence in themselves while learning one of the most challenging instruments in the world.
Sophi combines a bit of everything in her teaching style. She is Classically trained in Salzedo style harp technique and combines his unique approach to the harp with a mixture of foundational pieces (many of which he composed himself), technique work, assistance in creating custom harp arrangements, and just enough music theory and music history for her students to be able to make sense of what they’re learning.
As students progress, she is also available to help them build their gig books and help them establish themselves as confident performers and/or musical entrepreneurs.
Whether you or your future harpist is completely new to music, a seasoned instrumentalist, or an adult learner, Sophi is excited to help you all down this path!
